Below is the anticipated schedule for the 2010-11 class year. Each class includes an entertaining guest speaker, and time to work on your own projects to solve problems in the other countries. Meetings are scheduled on Tuesday Evenings from 6:00 to 8:30 pm Chattanooga State Amnicola Highway Campus - Business and Health Building

Session 1, September 14th: Introduction to World Issues Icebreakers, Introduce Team Projects, Review Topic Samples

Session 2, October 12th: Importance of Products in World Development

Session 3, November 9th: Working in 3rd World Countries

Session 4, December 2010: Grant Writing

Session 5, January 11, 2011: Relationship with Governments Overseas/Promotion within the US

Session 6, February 8, 2011: Meeting the Culture of Your Country

Session 7, March 8th: Presentation Skills

Session 8, April 5th: Work on Presentations

Session 9, May 10th: Make Presentations- invite Board/Judges Graduation and Awards Ceremony (Date TBD)
